<p><a href="http://www.02038.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/classical-charter-school_wm.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-493" title="classical-charter-school" src="http://www.02038.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/classical-charter-school_wm.jpg" alt="classical-charter-school" width="227" height="142" /></a></p>
<p>Built around the “<a href="http://coreknowledge.org/CK/index.htm" target="_blank">Core Knowledge Curriculum</a>” developed by acclaimed reformist educator E.D. Hirsch, the school’s program of study aims to provide students with a classical education and a strong, resilient character.  Language, the arts and music are also taught at each grade level.</p>
<p>You can’t argue with the success of the program.  The Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School in Franklin, MA has <a href="http://www.02038.com/2008/12/franklin-ma-public-schools-excel/" target="_blank">achieved simply stellar rankings in the MCAS test results</a>.  In most grade levels tested, the school ranks at or very near the top of all schools in Massachusetts!</p>
<p>There’s so much demand for enrollment that a lottery is run each year to fill available slots.  Preference is given to siblings of students already attending the school.</p>
